Meet Lee Smart, an avid Spurs fan and an occasional golfer when work allows; a man who is also the managing founder of Home Heat – a family owned business established in 1989. With a hands-on approach to the day-to-day running of the company, Lee conducts all the surveys and prepares the quotes for Home Heat; a company offering a large, varied selection of quality fireplaces and stoves, stylised to fit your home from a number of leading manufacturers.

Home Heat’s foundations were forged by father and son, Laurel and Lee, in a small shop in Seaford, East Sussex, in 1989 with the aim of offering a friendly and efficient service to clients whilst supplying the widest range of fireplaces available locally. By 1994, larger premises were required and their move to Clayhill near Lewes, East Sussex enabled their aim of supplying the widest range of fireplaces available locally to be achieved; their 1700ft showroom has grown to be one of the largest showrooms in the local region of Lewes. Their comprehensive after-sales care packages to clients further their desire to ensure that their service goes above and beyond.

Lee is joined by four other members of the team who work together to run the Home Heat Fireplace and Stove Installation business. The team pride themselves on being family run, giving their customers quality products at superb value, endeavouring to provide the very best customer service they can. This is what Lee is keen to stress is at the core of their business. Home Heat has been built upon recommendations based upon their attention to their customers, creating a solid reputation for their business which generates further interest via word of mouth.
